When Marielle discovered swing dancing during the pandemic, she went from zero to all-in, diving headfirst into classes and socials. She has trained locally in Ottawa and Montreal and internationally in Greece and Sweden, learning from world-renowned dancers. Marielle has also begun performing in a chorus line, exploring the performance side of swing and jazz dance. Her love for social dancing brings a fresh, enthusiastic perspective to her classes, inspiring beginners to discover the joy that first drew her to the floor.

Anaëlle discovered dance at a very young age in France, inspired by her parents who would light up family gatherings with lively rock and roll. After moving to Canada, she embraced Lindy Hop and began competing with the amateur troupe SAF Bootcamp, crowned Canadian champions at CSC 2016, and later with the professional troupe SAF Battalion, which earned third place at CSC 2017. These experiences taught her perseverance and the importance of true presence with her partner. It was only later that she fell in love with Blues — a slow, soulful, and passionate dance.
